miami had those 2 top 50 wins
and also had 3 more regular season wins
put them together......yes......thats enough of a difference to get you in
and for the record as a canes fan......i thought after losing in the 2nd game of the ACCT we deserved no better than a 9 seed
i figured two wins in charlotte would be needed to get a 7
VT's schedule was stronger though, might be the reason why the Canes had two more wins and less conference wins.
Was it really that much stronger? Either way, Miami's only bad nonconference loss was to a team that made the tourney. It does look better than VT's to be honest. I don't think Miami is very good either.
